Trevon Baker - President
Trevon Baker appreciates two of the most valuable resources the state as to offer.... it’s stunning beauty and camaraderie of his fellow MPPA members. His award winning images have been captured all over the state, with the majority taken in the famed Flathead Valley, in northwest Montana, where he makes his home and operates his studio. As a native of Montana, Trevon Baker, CPP, Master Ph. Craftsman, started out as a nature and wildlife photographer, but he also found that his patience and ability to put people at ease in front of the camera were strong attributes for a portrait photographer. Trevon ties new technology with classic, timeless portrait methods. His specialties include not only portraiture, but commercial work as well, photographing many types of artwork, products and real estate. His fine art scenics are also widely known across the Flathead Valley.
As an instructor, Trevon has spoken across the United States and for the national convention of the Professional Photographers of Canada. He has also done speaking tours in Australia, New Zealand and to the PPK and KPA in South Korea. He has also instructed at PPA Affiliate Schools such as The Triangle Institute of Photography, The Golden Gate School, Intermountain PPA, East Coast School, and of course the Montana PPA.
Baker currently sits on the Board of Directors for The Montana Professional Photographers Association, the North Flathead Yacht Club and is a member of the local and state Montana Chamber of Commerce as well as a number of community based service organizations.
